Manchester City confirmed the departure of Chief coach Gareth Taylor after five years, and former head Nick Cushing returned to the club as a temporary replacement.
The 52-year-old worked with the club academy before taking over the duty of the women’s side in 2020. That season, he led them Fa cup Glory, while they reached the finals of 2022 and won the Cup league the same year.

“We would like to record gratitude to Gareth for all his efforts during his age in City. Our triumphs for the FA Cup and League Cup will remain special moments in the history of this football club. We wish him all the best for the future.”
City faced a difficult moon by winning the quarterfinal conflict of FA Cup against Aston Villa on Sunday. Over the coming weeks, they will be fed four times in three different competitions of 13 days, starting with the finals this weekend.
