Trump plans to accommodate migrants in Gitmo confronted with the main obstacles

The US Army has problems with the president’s performance Donald Trump Intending to hold 30,000 migrants at Guantánamo Bay in Cuba, US Defense officials say Fox News.
None of the tents who are set up in the US Navy Station at the Guantánamo Bay are not used to accommodate migrants because they do not meet ICE standards, two US defense officials said.
During his second week in power, Trump Ordered Pentagon and the Homeland Security Department for the preparation of the detention of migrant for accommodation 30,000 migrants at the Guantánamo Bay. “We have 30,000 beds in Guantánam to attract the worst crimes that threatens the American people,” Trump said.
From that announcement, 256 total illegal migrants went through the base, according to the US command Southern. Many of these migrants are labeled “the worst of the worst” and a threat to the American population, according to Trump’s administration. Most of these migrants were returned to their home countries.

Only 20 migrants have been held at the base on Wednesday. The sixteen “high threats to illegal foreigners” is held in the detention part of the base, also known as the Camp 6, and four migrants are held in the reserve plant for the inadequacy of the tent. DHS and Ice did not respond to inquiries regarding what criteria were used to assess whether the migrant was a big threat.
The US army was said to set tents without clear guidelines about what the standards for holding migrants were, two US officials said. The US army did not receive special guidelines on what tents should be certified to hold migrants. The surgery of the construction of several tents was stopped in February, just weeks after it started.
” Ministry of DefenseIn close coordination with our partners, the Ministry of Homeland Security continues to prepare facilities for use. The Ministry of Defense is dedicated to ensuring that all individuals located in these temporary facilities are treated in accordance with DHS/ICE standards, “an American defense official said in a Fox News statement.
US military aircraft were not used to transport migrants from March 1, and there are currently no flights in US military aircraft scheduled for Guantánamo. However, several migrants needed to arrive on an aircraft with ice filling on Wednesday night, two US defense officials said. The US Transport Command has a C-17 and C-130 ready to support a migrant mission, but have not been asked to spend any flights in recent days, says the US defense official for Fox News.
“The military Airlift is just one option available DHS to relocate illegal foreigners, and DOD is ready to continue support with additional fights if requested,” a US defense official said in a Fox News statement.
Fox’s Laura Ingraham had an exclusive interview with Defense Minister Pete Hegseth and General General Phil Ryan, a commanding general for surgery at the Guantánamo Bay, February 25th. While Ingraham reported, flight C-130 arrived Fort Bliss, Texascarrying nine high values from Guatemala, Honduras, Guinea, Venezuela and Vietnam.

When asked why the US army used such a large plane for nine migrants, Ryan explained that there was at least one ice officer for each migrant, as well as a medical team on board. Hegsetth assured: “We had groups with more than that.”
One of the reasons why the use of military aircraft slowed could be due to high costs. The C-17 costs about $ 28,500 to flight per hour, according to the US transportation command. The ice aircraft costs around $ 8,500 per flight, on the clock, it is stated on the Government’s website.

It is significant that the day after Ingraham’s interview, February 26, nine migrants were sent back to the US and DHS and Ice did not answer why these migrants were sent back or they were the same migrants who had arrived the day before.
