‘Maine Cabin Masters’ Star Matt ‘Dixie’ Dix’s wife Ginna Dix dead in 48
Ginna Dix, wife “Masters in the Maine cabin” Star Matt “Dixie” Dix, died. She was 48 years old.
Magnolia Network announced Ginna’s death in the post on Instagram divided into the official account of “Maine Cabine Masters” on Wednesday.
“The heart announced the unexpected passage of Ginne Dix on February 1, 2025,” the inscription said. “The beloved wife of Dixie, God’s daughter of Ryan’s parents and friends so much. Ginna was a huge part of the Master Masters Masters family and will miss him terribly.
“We thank you all for love and support, but we ask that you give the privacy of Maine Cabins Masters at this point.”

The post included a presentation with the photos of Ginne taken at different moments in her life, from childhood to pictures to pictures of her younger years with Dixie to new pictures of the couple with her dogs.
According to the obituary published on Centralmaine.com, Ginna died unexpectedly at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, with her family beside her. No cause of death is intended.
Ginna, who welcomed Sidney, Maine, was a nursing student at St. Anselm College in Goffstown, New Hampshire, and graduated with a bachelor’s science from the 2000 sisters. In the same year, she met Dixie, and two tied the knot on September 22, 2001, Ginna and Dixie shared three children, Michael, Lindsey and Kiley.
After graduating from St. Anselm College, Ginna landed her first job as a nurse in Pine Tree Camp in Rome, Maine. For many years, she worked as a registered nurse at a hospital and then a Cancer Care Center in Maine before acquiring a master’s degree from Sisters at the Purdue University, where she graduated in 2018.
After graduation, she returned to Maine and became a nurse in the center of Harold Alfonnd and the Mainehealth Franklin Memorial Hospital.

“Ginna loved spending time at home in Rangeley with her husband and their three dogs, Quity, Dodge and Asher,” her obituary said. “Ginna found joy in spending time on the beach in the summer, and in winter they are motor snow through the forest.
“She was happiest when she was” in the camp “surrounded by her family and friends, listening to music and drinking a glass of Prosecc on Saturday morning. They often found her quietly sitting on the couch with her dogs, a strong coffee cup and reading a book.”
Dixie’s “Masters in the Cabin” Costar Ryan Eldridge, A lifelong friend of the couple, shared honoring Ginni on Instagram. He posted a return photo of himself with Ginn with another picture taken during their childhood.
“We were born on the same day, separately, our parents were best friends, you got married with my best friend,” Eldridge wrote.

Eldridge said Ginna “was supposed to be my little sister for 11 years” before his younger sister Kali was born, but she noted that “she is too damn hard and strong for that.”
The real star said Ginna “could be one of the boys who ride inside the house on the Iron Mine hill, and at the same time be powerful, without the stupidity you came.”

“I will never forget that I hit you time with a tennis racket, you calmly looked at me for never forgetting because you weren’t in the phase and knew I fucked up as you went back to tell our parents,” he recalled.
Eldridge shared that “You and Matty locked your eyes and danced on the counter.”

“Masters of the main cabins” debuted on the Magnolia network, which was then known as the DIY network before bought by Chip and Joanna Gaines. The series follows Carpenters Dixie, Eldridge and Jared “Jedi” Baker, along with the performer Chase Morrill, his designer sister and wife Eldridge, Ashley Morrill, while renewing and returning cabins in Maine.
The tenth season of “Maine Cabin Masters” premiered on December 30, 2024.
