Australia’s comprehensive Marcus Stoinis shocked the cricket world, announcing its retirement directly ahead of the long -awaited ICC champion Trophy 2025. Marcus Stoinis will withdraw from one -day internationals with the current effect, as he comprehensively stated that he would focus on T20 Crket.
The 35-year-old is involved in the Australian temporary team for the champion trophy, but decided to withdraw from the ODIS and will not participate in the tournament. He last played for Australia in GOD against Pakistan in November 2024. Stoinis was a key part of the Australian team to win the ODA World Cup in 2023.

After his decision, Marcus Stoinis called his career his career “incredible journey.” Stoinis expressed gratitude for the presentation of Australia in the 50-story format. He stated that the withdrawal was a difficult decision, but it was a good time to focus on our T20 career.
“The playing of playing Australia was an incredible journey, and I am grateful at all times I had in green and gold. The representation of my country at the highest level is something I will always nurture,” Stonis said.
