Arshdeep Singh beat Travis Head to win the ICC Men’s T20i Cricketer of the Year 2024 award


Young Indian pace sensation Arshdeep Singh has been crowned the ICC T20I Cricketer of the Year 2024. He surpassed Pakistan batsman Babar Azam, explosive Australian batter Travis Head and Zimbabwe’s star All-Rounder Sikandar Raza Conching One of the greatest hours of his career so far.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced Arshdeep Singh as the winner of the T20I Cricketer of the Year 2024 award on Saturday (January 25). The 25-year-old played a key role in India’s historic T20 World Cup 2024 triumph and emerged as a dominant force in T20 cricket last year.

With 36 wickets in just 18 T20I matches, Arshdeep was India’s best representative of 2024 in the shorter format of the game. The lanky pacer has a reputation as a key weapon in the powerplay and at the death. The left armer has proven his class in different conditions.
