Lewis Hamilton: Martin Brundle has “without a doubt” Ferrari driver can win a record eighth F1 World Title | F1 news
Lewis Hamilton still has what is required to win record eight world titles F1 after his move to Ferrari, according to Sky Sports F1Martin Brundle
Hamilton enjoyed his first week of work In Ferrari after he came out after the wheel of a 2023 car in Italy on Wednesday in Italy, with 1500 spectators.
The 40-year-old watched his family and finished 30 laps (55 miles) to get used to the new Riccard Adami engineer and Ferrari car systems, and was previously previously guided using a Mercedes Power in F1.
“It’s unquestionable [worth the money]already, “Brundle said Sky Sports News.
“Two of the greatest names in the 75-year history of Formula One, some could say the biggest names. Lewis Hamilton dressed everything in a purple horse, an absolutely extraordinary story. It’s a story, a gift, which will keep, which will keep giving for us in us Sky F1.
“This is just Hamilton’s third team in Formula 1, and he will want to go there and show that despite only 40 years, not via hill like some people said last year, and he wanted to show that he made him made a decision again .
But in the last season, Hamilton surpassed his teammate George Russell, especially in qualifying where Russell led 19-5.
For the first time in his career, he did not achieve a podium in the opening nine races and there was a questionnaire about his speed.
Hamilton controversially lost the world title 2021. Max Verstappen and is related to Michael Schumacher at seven driver championships, which Brundle thinks the record that the British driver can still break.
“There are some big challenges, his teammate Charles Leclerc has been there for seven years effectively and knows exactly where the buttons are and who works, and makes things happen,” Brundle said.
“Lewis will have to deal with this, and the fact that Leclerc is incredibly fast. But I have no doubt that if Ferrari has a race race or the car he won the championship, Lewis can win races and even the championship.”
Brundle: Hamilton is best behind him but still good enough
In July, Hamilton ended the infinite series of 56 races by triumphanting at the British Grand Prix, before he added a record 105 to later that month.
There is little success during the rest of the season, but he showed a view of his best form with strong plants through the field in Las Vegas and Abu Dabi.
“Let’s imagine Silverstone last year. When he had the opportunity to win a British GP, he won,” Brundle said.
“He won in Toplice, but that was a little luck because George [Russell] got a disqualified. Lewis was extraordinary through practice in Las Vegas, then threw him in qualifying, something he didn’t do much, and then he was extraordinary in the race.
“I think the speed is there. Do I think the best of Lewis Hamilton is forward or behind him? I think it’s behind him.
“I think he has lost the advantage over the years. The percentage of Lewis Hamilton in the winning car is still good enough.
“He has all the experience, and his energy and enthusiasm will reappear vigorously. Fans, known as Tifos, adore him.
