Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag They sued the city of Los Angeles and the Water and Energy Department after they lost their home in a fire in Palisades.

Pratt, Montag and other prosecutors accuse Ladwp of making “a conscious decision to manage the water supply system with an empty and unusable tank as a measure of ‘savings’.”
“Prosecutors have suffered damage to real and personal property, personal injuries, loss of the possibility of using their homes, loss of income, interruption of business and emotional stress and seek a fair compensation for themselves in this case caused by the defendants.”
“Since Santa Ynez tank was out of operation, the Hidrans in Pacific Palisades were canceled after three containers who held one million gallons of water dried within 12 hours,” the complaint said.
The document states that the system, built by the city of Los Angeles and Ladwp, “scheduled”, which is why prosecutors lost their homes.

“According to information and beliefs, the Palisades fire was an inevitable and inevitable consequence of the water supply system that served the areas of UI around the Pacific Palisades as planned and built,” the complaint said.

According to the lawsuit, prosecutors seek the amount of compensation that will be determined at the trial.
“Prosecutors have suffered damage to real and personal property, personal injuries, loss of the possibility of using their homes, loss of revenue, interruption of business and emotional stress and seek a fair compensation for themselves in this case caused by the defendants.

“Prosecutors are entitled to refund of all litigation and expenditures regarding the compensation on property, including law fees, compensation for experts, consulting fees and litigation costs.”

Pratt and Montag have been open since they lost their home in fires in LA earlier this month.
The couple sat with “good morning America” and talked about shock for their loss.
“Spencer said, ‘Grab everything you want to keep,’ and I said, ‘How are you going to choose?’ My brain actually stopped working because I was overloaded with so many things you can’t replace, so I grabbed the teddy bear of my children, “Montag said through tears.

The couple said their home and assets were unsecured and noticed that they were among many residents of southern California who were thrown out of their insurance policies.
