Cesc Fabregas talks about the links for the transfer of Ansu Fati to Como
Como manager Cesc Fabregas has insisted that rumors linking his side with Barcelona winger Ansu Fati this month are untrue.
Fati is expected to leave Barcelona ago transfer the window is closing after falling out of favor with Hansi Flick, who left the winger out of his last four matchday squads.
Como, headed by the former Barcelona midfielder Fabregas, have been named as suitors for the 22-year-old, but the Serie A side appear no longer interested after making their first inquiry during the summer window.
“There are some guys who are going to leave and they already know that, but we will bring in others,” Fabregas said. “We are not planning to sign a contract with a striker.

Finding a club willing to pay Fati’s reported £200,000-a-week wages is likely to be impossible for Barcelona, who have accepted they are likely to have to make a contribution to facilitate a loan exit before February.
Both West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked, while there have been reports of interest from Real Betis, although the La Liga side are likely to drop their pursuit as they close to Antony from Manchester United.
Fati is for the 2023/24 season. spent on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion but failed to establish himself as a regular player under Roberto De Zerbi.
