Andre Russell falls to an incredible team effort
The breathtaking run out came in the 15th over of Knight Riders’ innings. Facing the left arm spinner Aayan Afzal KhanRussell tried to launch a full delivery into the stands with a powerful shot. The ball soared high, traveling almost outside of the length, but Erasmus, positioned near the boundary rope, pounced and plucked it out of the air with one hand. Realizing he was losing his balance and about to cross the boundary, Erasmus flicked the ball in the air to Zadran, who sprinted from deep mid-wicket to complete the catch. The dismissal not only showed exceptional athleticism, but also highlighted the flawless coordination between the two players in the field.
