During the exciting match against Rajshahi Durbar in Bangladesh Premier League 2024-25 (BPL)the duo set a monumental record by putting on a 241 partnership for the first wicket at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium. This partnership is now the second highest in the history of men’s T20 cricket, only behind him Japan‘with Lake Lachlan Yamamoto and Kendel Kadowaki-Flemingwho had previously scored an unbeaten 258 runs against China.
Das showed his explosive batting skills, scoring an unbeaten 125 runs off just 55 balls, including 10 fours and 9 sixes, achieving a strike rate of 227.27. His partner, Tanzid, also contributed significantly with 108 runs off 64 balls, including 6 fours and 8 sixes at a strike rate of 168.75. This phenomenal performance not only secured their place in T20 history but also took Dhaka Capitals to a record total of 254/1, marking the highest score in BPL history.
