A left winger by profession, but also capable of playing on the right, Hernandez renewed his contract with his current club last April, and although he is expected to leave in the upcoming transfer window, it is added that the Spanish side will demand a €20 million release clause (16 .7 million pounds) for the 22-year-old to be paid in order for him to leave the club in the next month.
So far, no club has managed to do so, while Hernandez “will not force a departure”, and his potential playing time at Chelsea is also being discussed. However, the West Londoners seem set to push hard to bring him in in the transfer window ahead.
