During the 8th over of JSK’s chase, Du Plessis – known for his aggressive batting – was on 30 off 23 balls when he faced Kagiso Rabada. Du Plessis attempted an inside-out ball on the off side. The ball flew towards the boundary, seemingly destined for a six, but Brevis, stationed at long-on, had other plans.
Agile and visionary, Brevis sprinted, jumped and managed to get his fingers under the ball before it could cross the line. Showing composure, after the initial catch, he tossed the ball back into the air as he teetered on the edge of the rope, then jumped again to complete what was a breathtaking catch. The audience erupted in applause, and the moment was soon etched in SA20 folklore.

George Linde lifts MI Cape Town to a respectable total
