Indian criket of Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, officially divorced, and the proceedings took place in the High Court of Bandra, where they both were present. However, what attracted the public attention was the Chahal’s T -shirt, which is a printed statement “Be your own sugar dad.”
Chahal and Dhanashree tied a knot in December 2020, but separated in June 2022 on February 5th, they submitted a joint request for divorce by mutual consent. However, according to Article 13b (2) the Hindu Act, the Family Court may consider such a petition only after a compulsory waiting period of six months.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma arrived separately because of their divorce procedure in the Bandra High Court. Dhanashree opted for a simple look in a white T -shirt and jeans, while Chahal wore a black T -shirt with a bold statement: “Be your own sugar dad.”
The Indian cricket initially wore a hood and later discovered a message on his T -shirt while leaving the field, causing wide guesses and discussions among fans. His choice of clothing quickly became viral, and many interpreted him as a subtle message regarding his separation.

A few hours before his divorce procedure, Chahal was seen with his rumor, RJ Mahuash, in the park in Andheri in Mumbai. The duo spent time together before Chahal went to court for his last disposal of Dhanashree Verme’s divorce.
Yuzvendra Chahal paid 4.75 crowns in alimony Dhanashree Verma
Yuzvendra Chahal will pay ₹ 4.75 crowns as alimony Dhanashree Verma as part of their divorce. Reports show that the 34-year-old has already paid ₹ 2.37 crowns, with the remaining amount that will be paid after the divorce finalization.
It was previously announced that Dhanashree had requested ₹ 60 crowns, but official documents confirmed the inhabited amount of 4.75 crowns. The Bombay High Court approved an exemption from a compulsory six -month cooling period under the Hindu Marriage Act, quickly following their divorce of consent.
However, the court considered the partial payment of the alimony to be inconvenient, which influenced his decision to deny Chahal’s petition for renunciation.
Yuzvendra Chahal should play for Punjab Kings in IPL 2025
Yuzvendra Chahal will represent Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The leg spinner played with Rajasthan Royals last season. He is the second highest wicker Jaipur franchise with 66 dismissals, just behind Shane Watson.
