Turkish protests reinforce that the detained Mayor of Istanbul faces the second day of testing

By breaking the ban on public gatherings, the protesters went out to the streets in Istanbul, Ankari and several Turkish cities to protest against the arrest of Mayor Istanbul Ekrem İmamoglu, a popular opposition politician and a key challenger of the Turkish President, currently scheduled for the 20th President.
