Schumer accuses Trump of threatening a democracy in his quarrel with a federal judge


Senate leader Chuck Schumer, Dn.y., believes the president Donald Trump causes a “constitutional crisis” in the midst of his altercation with a federal judge who ordered the president to stop flights of deportations run according to the Law on Almise Enemies.

During his appearance at the NBC “Meet the Press”, Schumer warned that Trump wanted to defy the courts and threaten democracy in the process.

“And democracy is in danger. Look, Donald Trump is an iniquity, angry man. He thinks he should be a king. He thinks he should do whatever he wants, no matter the law, and thinks the judges should only listen to him,” Schumer said.

Schumer told the host Kristen Welker that the Democratic Party “fights it in every single way,” adding that the party’s legal efforts to stop Trump’s agenda can work.

“And we actually had over 100 cases in the courts where we had a very good success on success. So, Donald Trump, angry with this success, said the judges should be abolished. Allow me to say – Donald Trump and the US people, Democrats in Senate will not impose judges. Complete stop,” he said.

After Welker asked about Trump, saying he would not respect the court order, Schumer said he did not believe Trump.

“I don’t believe him. We have to look at him as hawks. Holding court commands is why our democracy is in danger and we will have to do our best to fight in this regard,” he said.

Schumer’s rigid rebuke Trump comes because some in his party challenge his leadership after voting for a Republican continuing resolution (CR) to prevent the government from excluding the government despite the wide opposition of Bill Democratic Party.
