Trump’s speech to Congress: Payton McNabb should be present


Payton McNabb, a former high school volleyball player who was seriously injured when a transgender opponent stimulated the ball in the face, will be one of the presidents Donald Trump Guests on his joint address to the Congress on Tuesday night.

Fox News said on Monday that she was stunned when she heard she had received the offer.

“It’s a very incredible honor and I’m so grateful and I can’t believe I’m invited. I know that President Trump really supports what we are fighting for and what I’ve been in for more than two years,” she said. “And it’s really big in drawing men from female sports and from their space.

“So, I think this is just his way to let us know that he can see us and he is with us, and I am simply grateful for that.”

McNabb said she didn’t expect Trump to talk about his story, but it would be “crazy” if he did.
