A diplomatic source confirmed that the ankle of Glzmann’s edition was performed as a “gesture of goodwill” by Taliban as an indicator of “trust” in the continuous role of Qatar as a mediator between Washington and Kabul.
The exchange is different from the publication of two other Americans liberated earlier this year, including Ryan Corbett and William McKenty, who were released in exchange for Taliban member in custody in the United States in the US last hour scored by the Administration of Biden.
