Device, called Project Moohan, Samsung’s response to Apple$ 3.500 $ Vision Pro, which was launched last year.
Samsung teased his headphones last year, but for the first time at this year’s World Congress World Congress in Barcelona, he first exhibited.
The Samsung product is called “expanded reality” or an XR device that aims to connect the digital and physical world. However, there are few details about the device right now. Four cameras are visible in the front of physical headsets and it seems that there are touches on the side.
Samsung worked along with both of them Qualcomm and Google Develop a new type of operating system for these types of devices, known as Android XR platform.
In December, Samsung said that Google Gemini would be installed in headphones, allowing users to experience the “conversation user interface”.
This would probably allow users to communicate with the twins, Google’s AD Assistant AI, to help move through apps and tasks. Cameras also suggest that there will be some kind of gesture control Similar to the Apple Vision Pro.
“For me, a pro -female technology is a combination of advanced vision ability to intelligence that understands the user intent. I think without an intelligence part this is a faulty product,” said Patrick Chomet, an executive vice president in the Samsung’s mobile division, for CNBC in an interview on Tuesday.
Chomet has hinted in the world that have predicted many consumer electronics companies, where smarter AI digital assistants are able to intuitively understand the users’ requirements on the device.
Samsung was one of the early players in virtual reality headphones, a market that never took off as many companies predicted. However, with technology that progresses in areas from screen to chips, big players in computer science have declared mixed or extended reality as a new border in calculating.
Samsung teasing the future product plan during a presentation in January when he started his Flagship S25 series smartphones. One slide of the presentation showed the outlines of future devices, including a triple smartphone, similar Huawei’s friend XTas well as the Moohan headset project.
The final product was a couple of glasses, which could hint a different kind of future XR headset. Smart glasses offer similar experiences with headsets, but without wearing a bulky device.
Companies including Target,, Snap and xreal were Developing so -called glasses for expanded reality. AR is when digital images are covered in the real world in front of you.
CNBC reported last year that samsung, Qualcomm And Google collaborated on a set of mixed reality glasses. Samsung seems to have confirmed such a collaboration at the S25 event in January.
Chomet did not give a time lane to start glasses products. However, he said that people would probably use multiple devices.
“Probably for a long time, a smartphone will be the most commonly used device,” Chomet said. “I see a world where people have various things, including in their home, in your car. And the device will help you achieve what you need to achieve.”
