Leicester City manager Ruud Van Nistelrooy warned that foxes “do absolutely everything” to keep his 15-year-old striker Jeremy Monga at the club before increasing transfer speculation.
Monga does not turn 16 until the summer, but she is already regular for Leicester under the age of 21 and at the first team training. While still waiting for his senior debut, the teenager was included on the Leicester bench for Fa cup defeat by Manchester United Last month.
Such a stunning rise has attracted the interest of the Leicester rival in the Premier League, Specifically Chelsea and Manchester City. Despite their dangerous position at the Premier League table, Foxes chief was convinced that he could convince the monae to reject club approaches that were not tortured by the fears of relegation.
“It’s part of the plan for him to be part of the preseason and takes it from there because we see a player who can have an influence before later,” he pushed Van Nisklroooy this week. “This is ongoing, so we do absolutely everything we can to keep it here.”
As a 15-year-old still in regular education, Monga is participating in LeicesterSetting up the first team is limited. “He is part of our training, as you know, in the days when it is possible in his school program, his games at the age of 21 and playing for the national team,” Van Niskolrooy said.
“He did very well in under the age of 16 England As a captain, he scored a goal, so we follow his program very and within that, he trains with us.
“The priority is to get him and keep him at the club and there was a conversation between me and the club and Jeremy, his agent and his family. We introduced him to the plan we have for him.
“We are limited in his sessions because of school, but it is a plan we have for him. Next season that will change.”
