Yograj Singh, a former Indian cricket and the father of the legendary version Yuvraj Singh, reacted strongly to the decision of Virat Kohli and Rohita Sharma not to withdraw from Pogisk after Sunday (March 9) won the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

In the same video, the Indian captain said he would not retire soon. Later, at a press conference after the match, Rohit explained, saying, “I will not retire from this format. Just to ensure that the rumors are not spreading forward.”
Despite the criticism of his leadership after the losses in the India series in New Zealand and Australia, Rohit was exceptional to ODIS. Under its captain, India dominated ICC events, winning 15 of its last 16 games, and the only failure came in the World Cup finals in 2023.

Earlier, Virat Kohli hinted at the abandonment of the game only when Team India was in a stronger position for the future. Kohli said after the CT 2025 finals, “When you leave, you want to leave the team in a better place. I feel we have a team that is ready to take over the world for the next 8 years.”
It is significant that Kohli found his battle with his baton at the recently concluded prestigious tournament, where he was among the best shooters. The satisfied right back ended the tournament with 218 run in five games, and he will be next seen in the RCB action in the upcoming IPL 2025.
