Retired French surgeon accused of abusing hundreds of children ‘ready to recognize’ some rapes

Joël Le Scouarnec, a former French surgeon at trial for abusing hundreds of children during his long career, said on Monday that he was ready to admit some of the many rapes charged. “Today, I feel ready to admit some of the acts of rapes that I wanted to hide, deny,” he said in court. Le Scouarnec recorded many of its abuse in a way similar to the diary.
