Carl Dean, husband Dolly Parton, died on Monday, March 3rd, according to a village star. He was 82 years old.
“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together,” the singer “Jolene” wrote on social networks. “Words can’t make the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for prayers and sympathy.”

Dean will “be laid to rest in a private ceremony with the current family attending,” Parton wrote online. “He was survived by his siblings Sandra and Donnie.”
