Hard to assemble it – Hardik Pandya
Bowling first in the match, allowed me to register a huge score of 196/8 on the board, and while it persecuted the total, the hit unit failed, which resulted in the limit of us to 160/6.
Speaking after the match, Hardik Pandya said they hit poorly and collapsed poorly, and their appearance on the field was also bad. He said:
“It’s hard to put together, I think we ran in both places in hitting and bowling. We were not professional on the field, we made basic mistakes and that cost us 20-25 runs and in the T20 game that is enough.”
Should take responsibility – the message of Hardika Pandya Rohita Sharmi and top orders
Hardik Pandya further praised the openors of the Titan Gujarata for a great hitting and sent a strong message to the top order of Mumbai Indians, saying they should take responsibility.
“They (GT openers) have shook great, just a few deliveries here and there. They were quite exceptional, they didn’t have much chance, they did the right things, they managed to get races without playing many risky shots. We have been doing compensation since then.
Hardik Pandya signed himself, saying that the terrain was on the slower side and that the hitting became difficult. He said:
“On this Wicket, they (slower delivery) were the hardest balls, some shot, some bounced because the dough became heavy. They (GT bowlers) did what I did with the ball.”
How did he perform in the previous IPL match against GT?
In the previous match against the Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024, March 24, the Mumbaj Indians (Mi) approached very close to victory, but in the end they lost their match for six rides in Ahmedabad.
Chasing a target of 169 runs, I was lost early in Ishan Kishan for a duck, but recovered with a good hit by Rohit Sharma (43 excluded 29) and Naman Dhir (20 off 10).
The Dewald Brevis also slaughtered and scored 46 runs of 38 balls, holding me in a commanding position. In 107/2 in 12 additions, the five -time champions looked for a pleasant victory.
However, GT pulled things nicely. The release of Rohit Sharme launched collapse and the titans came to a dominant position in the match. In the last end, the Mumbaj Indians took 19 run with Hardik Pandy on the folds, but the double strike Umesh Yadava in 20. He sealed the GT game, and it ended at 162/9.
Earlier, with the ball, Jasprit Bumrah was an extraordinary Mumbai Indian performer, delivering sensational figures 3/14 in four additions. Also, Gerald Coetzee (2/27) and Piyush Chawla (1/31) were inserted with key hicckets.
