Despite being unprecedented on the auction of the IPL 2025 Mega, Thakur’s presence in LSG training has encouraged speculation about its possible involvement in the team as a replacement of injury.
Potential return after missing on IPL 2025 mega auction
Shardul, known for his versatility as a bowler and dough, has had a historic IPL career. Played for several franchises including Rise Full Super Giants, Punjab Kings, Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals and Kolkat Knight Riders. However, his recent stay with CSK at IPL 2024 was less successful, and he picked up only five shots in nine matches.
