Pope Francis suffers “acute respiratory failure,” says the Vatican

Pope Francis used a mask and a fan overnight to help him breathe after the Vatican said he had suffered “two episodes of acute respiratory failure.” The 88-year-old Pontif spent more than two weeks at the hospital in his last health battle.
