Delhi Capitals announced Faf du Plexis as his vice president for the upcoming Indian Premier League season. The decision comes as a big surprise because KL Rahul was a leader who had taken over the role earlier.
But the team of Delhi Capitals has decided to choose Faf du Plessis as Deputy Captain Axar Patela. Du Plexis has many experiences of leading a team in IPL, as well as an international crisis.

The Decision on the appointment of Faf du Plesis for Vice-Capetan was announced by Delhi Capitals through his social media account. It comes only a few days after Axar Patel was officially declared a team captain.
