BCCI prohibits Harry Brook two years after the IPL withdrawal backwards
Significantly, England Harry Brook was banned in the Indian Premier League two years after withdrawing from the tournament in the second consecutive season. The 26-year-old was supposed to play for Delhi Capitals at IPL 2025 after signing for INR 6.25 crore on a mega auction.
However, Brook decided to withdraw, citing his focus on liabilities in England. This is not the first time Brook has withdrawn from IPL. Last season, the English star was part of the Sunrizes Hyderabad, who bought him for INR 4 crore, but did not introduce himself in any matches.
His repeated retreats have now led to the strict actions of BCCI, as he is forbidden to participate in IPL in the next two seasons.
