The Rangers must release Philippe Clement and hire temporary by the end of the season, says Kris Boyd | Football news

Kris Boyd urged Rangers to release manager Philippe Clement and hire temporary until the end of the season.
The Rangers went down to the new low disappointing season, because on Saturday, six-ranked St Mirren beat 2-0 on Saturday, and Boyd believes that Clement now seems to have resigned to his fate.
US investors talk about multimillion-dollar takeover of Rangersbut Sky Sports Pundit says the Glasgow club should not wait for the deal to pass before the manager is resolved.
“Find temporary, put it in charge between now and the end of the season. He has to go immediately,” Boyd said on Sky Sports.
He added: “We are used to going out with excuses, he just looked defeated on Saturday, you just feel like the weather is up.
“I need to do that now – I’ve been saying that for months. It’s been down for months.
“All you have to do is watch the players who need to take over some responsibility, but no play style.
“There is no structure nothing to do and it’s from above down.”
Celtic remained 13 points clear over the Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership, despite the defeat in Hibernian on Saturday, while closed by the fourth consecutive league title.
Just the remaining hopes of Rangers in the silver accessories are a Europa league after Queen’s Park from the Championship kicked them out of the Scottish Cup, and Celtic won them in the League of the Cup League in December.
But Sutton agrees that he seems to have lost his hope that he can save anything from the season after this last blow.
“It felt like he wanted to be thrown out of his misery,” Sutton added, calling for the way Clement came after the game.
“His job is too big now. In recent weeks he has always talked about progress. He said [on Saturday] The team was nervous. This far into his evolution of the Rangers, the team should not be nervous.
“[The defeat to St Mirren] It was an absolute end for him. “
Clement said in the middle of the week that he was not a fan of Jose Mourinho’s game style after learning that Rangers would face his Fenerbahce side in the Europa League last 16.
Rangers chief said he had “incredible respect” for Mourinho’s record of winning the silver accessories, but his tendency is more offensive football.
Sutton pointed out that he was not a good look for the Rangers chief, given the recent results of his part.
“Critically for Jose Mourinho and a kind of negative tactics and did not score a home goal against Queen’s Park -St. Mirrena. You couldn’t invent it.”
