McCarty finished the game with four points and two rebounds, playing 19 minutes from the Bulldogs bench.

The bulldozs were also at 34-25 at halftime, but in the second half they surpassed 41-31 while the Spartans returned.

Wilson Dubinsky of South Karolina State was a leading scorer in this game with 24 points, while he also raised two rebounds and three assists.

For the Norfolk State, Ings led the path with 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
