South Africa Allrounder Corbin Bosch has been in some problems after he has recently decided to get out of the Pakistani Super League (PSL) to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL). PCB has decided to take legal proceedings against Allrounder.
Corbin Bosch initially picked up the franchise PSL Peshawar Zalmi in PSL’s Disc. However, he later signed with IPL Franchise Mumbai Indians, who automatically excluded him from the PSL 2025 season.
The situation happened because both leagues will be played this year at the same time. PSL, which took place every year during February-March, delayed the date of this year because of the ICC champion trophy, which Pakistan hosted during that period.

PCB takes legal proceedings against Corbin Bosch
Corbin Bosch reported Peshawar Zalmi in the Diamond category on the PSL Divine, which took place in January in Lahore. However, he replaced the injured Lizaad Willums on the Mumbaj Indian team. He announced the announcement on March 8.
As a result, PSL franchises have taken an attitude for a legal lawsuit against Bosch because they are afraid that this might set a precedent for players in the future. The franchises also discussed the idea of a direct ban on such players during their discussion.
The Pakistan Cricket Committee sent a legal notice, and Corbin Bosch was asked to justify his actions. The Committee also informed Allround of the future consequences of playing in PSL.
“The legal notice was submitted through his agent, and was asked by the player to justify his withdrawal procedures from his professional and contractual obligations,” PCB said.
“The management of PCB also emphasized the consequences of his departure from the league and expects his response in the scheduled time frame.
Although PCB asked Bosch about valid justification, they did not reveal any specific period of time in which Allrounder must answer. It remains to see how it suits and resolves the trick.
Why was the PSL window shifted?
The PSL 2025 will be held from April 11 to May 18, while the IPL 2025 will be held from March 2 to May 25. PCB has moved the PSL window not only given the champion trophy, but also to ensure the availability of foreign players.
In the previous window, PSL had to compete with various T20 leagues like SA20, BPL and ILT20 for foreign players availability. The PSL draft was organized after the IPL auction only to ensure the availability of foreign players.
