Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen says he is “ready to find something new” after his current contract at Old Trafford.
The 33-year-old’s agreement in United should expire this summer and has suggested talking to the club during the extension is yet to be held.
“I’m ready to find something new in my head,” Erixen said, talking to Danish sockets TV2 On the eve of the Danish quarterfinals of the league with two legs against Portugal.
“What is going to be is something I still decided. I haven’t heard anything, and when not, I suppose the cooperation ceases.
“That’s how I interpret it. Everyone knows that the contract emphasizes, so I think there is only one way [it will go]. “
Eriksen has made 27 appearances for United this season, but started only at six of his 14 appearances under the new chief Ruban Amorim.
The former Spurs midfielder signed for United 2022 on a free transfer.
