“Since there are six WSL campaigns left, we believe that change of management will inhale fresh life in our attempt to ensure the qualification for the UEFA Champions League UEFA 2025-26.
“We would like to make gratitude to Gareth for all his efforts during his age in the city. Our triumphs for the FA Cup and League Cup will remain special moments in the history of this football club. We wish him all the best for the future.”
Former City striker Taylor was appointed head of the women’s side in 2020, inherited Cushing and won the FA Cup that year and the 2022 Cup League.
Last season they were WSL winners, they ended up behind Chelsea on a goal-difference on the last day of the campaign.
