Gene Hackman Retired from their long and successful career more than 20 years ago, partially forced because of health concerns that caused them to take care of their wife and family.
“I try to take care of myself. I have not much fears,” Hackman said Larry King in 2004. “I have a normal fear of going – you know, I suppose we all think about it, especially when you become a certain year.”
He continued, “I want to make sure my wife and my family have worried. Besides, I don’t have much fear.”
Oscar and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were found dead in their Santa Feu, New Mexico, Wednesday.

Detectives believe that circumstances about the death of Hackman and his wife are suspicious of nature to require a thorough search and investigation.
Hackman was 95 at the time of his death.

In the same year, his last movie, “Welcome to Mooseport,” in the lead role of Ray Romano, was published, and Hackman withdrew from the screen.
