Film legend faced trial in Paris for the alleged sexual attack on two women during the 2021 movie.
French film legend Gerard Depardie will go to a trial in Paris on Monday for charges of sexual abuse of two women while filming the 2021 movie.
Dardieu, 76, which has made more than 200 films and television series, has been charged with improper behavior of about 20 women, but this is the first case to come to the trial that will start on Monday. He consistently denied any injustice.
Depardieu’s lawyer, Jeremie Asseous, said on Friday that the case is based on “false accusations” against his client, adding that it was expected that the film star would attend a two -day trial after the initial hearing was delayed for poor health.
