Former Nicolas Cage, the mother of their 34-year-old son, rejected her claims against the “national treasure” actor associated with The lawsuit accuses his son of attackingaccording to court documents.
Christina Fulton, who was from Cage from 1988 to 1991, sued both sons, Weston Coppola Cage, And the 61-year-old actor last month, claiming that Cage ignored his son’s mental health problems and “enabled” his behavior.
“Weston has a long history of mental and psychological disorder and the history of committing violent attack and battery and damage to many individuals,” the lawsuit said. “Nicolas was aware of the history of Weston and still failed to take measures to prevent Weston from committing violence and harming others.”
The dismissal was approved on Tuesday with prejudice, according to Fun Weekly.

“Cite Fulton states against Nicolas Cage are absurd and frivolous,” Cage’s lawyers for Fox News Digital said in February. “Weston Coppola is a 34-year-old man.”
“Mr. Cage does not control Weston’s behavior in any way and is not responsible for Weston’s alleged attack on his mother,” the statement continued.
Meanwhile, a lawyer for Weston claimed: “The incident with his mother caused her – not his father.”

“Weston’s father, Nicolas Cage, had absolutely nothing to do with Weston’s emotional state or condition that led to an incident with her mother Christina Fulton,” Weston representative of Fox News Digital told Weston. “According to Christina’s persuasion and direction, he agreed to see a new doctor he chose, who immediately changed his medication and treatment.”
Weston’s lawyer added: “Unfortunately, this resulted in emotional/medical breakdown, resulting in an incident with his mother. Christina’s efforts to blame their father for the incident are absolutely wrong and nothing more than trying to force media attention and force him to pay her money.”
Weston and Fulton allegedly enrolled in a feud that turned the physical at her home in Los Angeles into April 2024, and he was Arrested in July Under charges of an attack with a deadly weapon after being involved in the order.
