Kubrat Pulevo has been ordered to defend his World heavyweight WBA title against the British challenger Fabia Wardley.
Wardley is a candidate for number 1 on the WBA rankings after extending his undefeated record in October in October in the fight against 19 fights against Frazer Clarke’s first round.
The Ipswich fighter has put himself as a potential challenger for the owner of the IBF title Daniel Dubois earlier in the year, but Wardley will now get his first world title against Pulevo.
Oleksandr Usyk, which holds WBC and WBO belts, is also recognized as the WBA champion ‘Super’, while Pulev holds WBA title after winning points over Mahmoud Charr in December.
Bulgaria is a well -known face in Britain while provoking Anthony Joshua for WBA and IBF 2020 belts, suffering a loss of stopping in the ninth round, and then pulled Derek Chisora’s points two years later.
But Pulev has since renewed with two victories before a unanimous victory in Charr Sofia.
Wardley has increased its growing reputation in recent years with a victory with an explosive knockout over Nathan Goman and David Adeley, two British rivals.
Clarke fought for drawing with Wardley in their first fight last March, but the Olympic bronze medal ruthlessly stopped in the glittering opening of their rematch.
