Extraordinary Professor Slams Columbia, Barnard’s leadership as anti-de-designer agitators cause chaos
Anti-Israeli protest He broke out at Barnard College last week, and associate professor Columbia Shai Davidi calls for students and faculty members.
“These protests we saw two days ago, violently took over the hall in Barnard, is one of the same protests that began on October 12, 2023,” Davidai told Fox News Digital. “Hate doesn’t disappear alone. Extremism doesn’t disappear alone. If you don’t deal with it, it remains around.”
The latest protests were the response to the expulsion of two students who allegedly inserted themselves to Columbia University in January and threw flyers filled with hatred and antisemic rhetoric.

Professor teaches the course, Avi Shilon, he said Time of Israel That he had urged the protesters to join the class, but instead they refused and continued to yell.
Following the expulsion of Barnard students, more than 50 Anti-Israeli Agitators took over the building in the Barnard campus, echoing last year’s download Hall Hamilton at Columbia University.
When he spoke with Fox News Digital, Davidi pointed out that, although the protests were physically held in Barnard, the organization that was sanctioned by Columbia was organized and funded.
“This is a consequence of 20 years of indoctrination,” Davidai told Fox News Digital. “We have indoctrinated students and they are not a problem. The problem has always been professors who have indoctrinated them.”
However, Davidai says he heard equally from Jewish and non-Jewish students that they were bored with protests.
“They see no responsibility and they are just sick,” Davidi said. “I got an email from my parents who say,” What are we paying $ 90,000 for? So, then, Barnard can go and clean up a mess of students who had to walk without Scot? “That doesn’t make sense.”

Davidai says he tried to hang out with other faculties about questions, but in one case the student intervened and pulled out another member of the faculty from the interview. He says there are “radical students” who tell college “what to do and what to say”.
Apart from college, Davidai sees a problem with Columbia’s guidance. He says that former Columbia Minouche Shafik University president “didn’t know what was entering” and “was a coward.” He sets a bigger fault to the temporary President Katrina Armstrong, who he says is “incapable”.
Davidai does not think that all hope is lost to Columbia and believes that there is a way to reverse the university.
“You throw out indoctrinters, you throw out the professors [who] Hamas and other terrorist organizations that are designed in the US are openly supported. You throw out students who apparently support the massacre of Jews and Israelites, and you make space for professors who want to teach for students who want to learn. “

Neither Barnard College nor Columbia University immediately responded to Fox News Digital requests for comment.
Barnard College and Columbia University have historical history. Initially, Columbia was the University of all male, and Barnard, all women’s school, became part of the Columbia system in 1900. The two still share academic resources, and both institutions have classes available to Columbia and Barnard students.
On February 26, Columbia wrote a statement in which “the disorder of academic activities is not acceptable behavior.”
Immediately after the class disorder in January, the temporary President Armstrong condemned the incident in a statement, saying that agitator actions went against the rules of the University. In addition, Columbia suspended the alleged participant in connections with the University and launched an investigation.
President Barnard Laura Ann Rosenbury announced on Monday in a situation in The Cronicle of VisoC Education entitled “When a student protest goes too far. ”
“This disorder was not conceived to expand thinking or improving civic discourse. Instead, it was to calculate the act of intimidation, with disorders that disrupted and loudly speaking to the professor, distributing anti -Semitic leaflets and refusing to join the discussion even when the professor invited them to sit on the class,” Rosenbury Write. She continued to say that the protester actions “completely clashed with our mission”.
