‘Bourbon Street Hustler’, arrested after the death of the Kansas City reporter, should be weighing: AG

Louisian’s State Attorney has come to seek a sharp punishment for past crimes committed by a woman arrested after the death of Telemundo journalist based at Kansas City during the Super Bowla Week in New Orleans.
Danette Colbert was arrested in Jefferson Parish in February and accused of fraud and theft for allegedly using debit and credit cards that belong Adan Manzanowho was found dead in his hotel room outside New Orleans while covering Super Bowl for Dallas’s local Telemundo Affiliate KGKC.
The coroner of the Orleans Parish allegedly found Xanax in the Manzan system. He didn’t have a recipe for medication.
Colbert was allegedly seen on a hotel security shot with Manzan early in the morning of his death in Kenner, which led to suspicion of drugs.

Colbert is not charged with Manzan’s death, but is held without a bond, while Murrill’s office asks Campbell to impose a sharp sentence.

Nola.com reported that just a few days after the charges of fraud and theft were charged against Colbert in Manzan’s death, that she was proclaimed a suspect in the death of a 55-year-old man named John Jenkins on December 15, who died of cocaine and toxicity of ethanol in the New Orleans hotel room.
Colbert was not charged at that death either.
After the news of his death, KGKC described Manzano as “a true professional and growing star that is an example of excellence in his work.”
