Gene Hackman, Betsy Dog probably died of dehydration and starvation


Gene Hackman and Pas Betsy Arakawa Hackman probably died of dehydration and hunger, states in the report obtained Associated Press.

The report, published by the Santa Fe control agency, states that partial mummification of the animal could cover up changes in the organ, but there was no evidence of poisoning, infectious diseases or traumas that could lead to death.

The report also determined that the dog’s stomach was empty, and only small amounts of hair and bile were discovered.

Zinna, one of the three dogs of couple, was found when the bodies of Hackman and Arakawa were discovered on February 26 at the Santa Fe house.
