ALASKA AIR AIR Officers ratify the employment contract
(Reuters) – Alaka Air Air flights ratified a new three -year employment contract, said the union, who represented workers on Friday.
The Association of Leta-CWA participants, a union who represented the carrier’s headquarters based in Seattl, said 95% of the votes given had supported a new agreement.
The ratified agreement would provide students with a salary increase in 18.6% to 28.3%, salaries for boarding, 25 months of retroactive salary and two additional increases during the contract, among other benefits, the union said.
In August, workers rejected a three -year convincing agreement, which was the first to legally oblige the salary of boarding for flight participants.
Alaska welcomed the ratification in a statement.
“I am glad that they are working under a new contract that appreciates their contribution to Alaska,” said carrier’s executive director Ben Minicucci.
