A freight ship was hit by a tanker who carried jet fuel in the North Sea on Monday, caused a massive fire from England and left 32 people injured, the tanker operator said. A major rescue operation was coordinated by the Coast Guard in the UK because the pictures showed a huge splash of thick, black smoke and flames that rose from the scene about 10 miles (16 kilometers) from the coast.
