Lutnick said the sale of his companies would prevent conflict of interest.
“After confirmation, my companies will be for sale and someone else will take them forward,” Lutnick added.
Trump has announced a Lutnick nomination two weeks after he was elected president.

Trump applauded the puppet leadership during the presidential transition, saying that “he created the most sophisticated process and system to help us create the greatest administration that America has ever seen.”

“We are terribly treated by a global trade environment. All of them have bigger tariffs, non-Tariff trade barriers and subsidies. They treat us badly. We need to treat each other better. We can use tariffs to create reciprocity,” said Lutnick.
Lutnick testified to sharing Trump’s stop on tariffs, adding that he preferred a strategy “across the” tariff “by state”.

Trump announced 25% of steel and aluminum imports from all countries on Monday, adding up to 35% of tariffs for Chinese steel and aluminum import. The tariffs could take effect on March 12.
