US President Donald Trump fired the president of the joint head of CQ Brown, an officer with the highest rank in the country, as part of a large earthquake of top military leadership.
“I want to thank General Charles ‘CQ’ Brown for more than 40 years of service to our country,” Trump posted on social networks. He said the five other best officers were replaced.
Gen Brown was the second black officer who held the place, whose holder advises both the president and secretary of the National Security Defense.
US Defense Minister Pete Hegsetth said earlier that Gen Brown should be fired for his “awakened” focus on the programs of diversity, equality and involvement in the army.
Later on Friday, Hegsetth announced the release of two additional senior officers: the head of the Navy Operations of Adm Lisa Franchetti and the Vice President of the Staff of the Aeronautical Forces of Jim Slife.
Adm Franchetti was the first woman to run the US Navy.
All three best officers removed on Friday was appointed by Trump’s predecessor, Joe Biden.
Hegsetth said in a statement: “Under President Trump, we set a new leadership that will direct our army to his basic mission of distractions, fights and victory on the wars.”
Trump said he would appoint the Air Force General Dan Cainea – Pilota in the career F -16, who has recently been a CIA associate for military affairs – as a new president of the joint head of the headquarters.
