The judge who appointed Trump said on a hearing on Friday that he would put a temporary block on the administration plan to put 2,200 US agencies for international development (USAID) employees on paid leave until midnight, Fox News learned.
He also told the government lawyer that he was not sure if he would include 500 employees who were already in his order.
American District Judge Carl Nichols stopped two federal employees associations – the US Association for Foreign Services and the US Federation of Government employees – who filed lawsuits on Thursday for orders.
Government officials “failed to recognize the catastrophic consequences of their actions, relating to US workers, the lives of millions around the world, as well as US national interests,” the lawsuit said.

Nichols said that prosecutors “established irreparable damage,” adding that “the Government has no zero damage to stop it for a short time.”
Nichols added that it would be a “very limited” temporary restraining order.
“Close it!” President Trump wrote about the truth of Social earlier on Friday on a US agency supervised international development.
The USAID official told reporters on Friday that the agency “stopped existing”, and most employees disappeared and stopped financing.
What is USAID and why is it in Trump’s crossword puzzles?
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the most important programs for rescue of life operated by USAIDs abroad were given renunciation to continue.
USAID was founded by President John F. Kennedy in 1961 and had more than 10,000 employees and a budget of about $ 40 billion a year.

On Friday, the USAID website said that at midnight “all the USAIDs directly rented staff will be put on administrative leave globally, with the exception of a particular staff responsible for critical functions, basic guidance and specially specific programs. It is expected that it is expected will continue to work the basic staff by the agency leadership by Thursday, February 6, at 3:00 pm (EST).
Trump and Elon Musk, which manages the cost of reducing the efficiency of the Government, said they could relocate surviving saving programs of USAID’s life in the State Department.
