Many Muslims watched Ramadan around the world, which starts this year on Friday. It is a holy month when they refrain from food, drinks and other pleasures from sunrise to sunset.

Ramadan concludes with Eid al-Attic (Festival Festival) on March 30.

Here’s how worshipers mark this holy period, which includes religious reflection, family gatherings and good deeds.
