John Eustace has received a painful demonstration of the size of a task that has to save Derby from relegation while his new side has dropped to a loss of 4-0 on QPR.
The Ilias Chair achieved twice, and Koki Saito and Ronnie Edwards were also targeted on the first day at the Office for the New Chief of Rams.
Eustace raised his eyebrows this week leaving Blackburn, a side that caused a promotion to the Premier League, for one fight against fall to League 1.
While Rovers lie in fifth place, Derby humiliated in Western London meant that they slid in the lower three on goal -difference.
Eustace must have known what was on Friday night, because his last match with Rovers was a 2-1 defeat at Loftus Road 10 days earlier.
