More than 300 people were evacuated from a passenger train at Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, after the fire began under the first car. The flames quickly captured the entire trolley.
Southeast Pennsylvania Transport Directorate (Sept) said all passengers were surely evacuated and no one was injured. “Pictures really tell the story of how serious this situation was,” said Andrew Busch, director of Sept for relations with the media. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
