Not Jasprit Bumrah or Hardik Pandya! Shubman Gill has been called by Rohita Sharma as an Indian skipper
Former India coach and shock coach Sanjay Bangar supported 25-year-old Shubman Gill to replace Rohit Sharma as a national team skipper in the future. Bangar pointed out that Gill is well prepared to take responsibility to lead the Indian national cricket team in the years to come.
Rohit Sharma leads India in the 2025 champion trophy. However, he is 37 years old, which means that India will soon need a new captain in all three formats.
