Fisher compared Musk’s role to the white house with that former advisor Anita Dunna. Dunn, who has long -standing relationships with former President Barack Obama, has left White house Biden 2024 to join the top democratic Super Pac to support his efforts for the elected Vice President of Kamal Harris at the November 2024 elections.

Dunn served as a political strategist and advisor for Biden in his campaign in 2020 and in the White House.
Fisher continued to say that Musk “has no greater authority than other senior white house advisers” and, as such, has no “real or formal powers” to make government decisions.

“Mr. Musk can advise the president only and communicate the president’s directive,” Fisher wrote.
Fisher explained that Doge is a separate entity from the White House, continuing to say that Musk is not “an employee of the US Doge Service or a temporary organization of the American Doge service.”
These are Doge’s actions within the seven federal agencies, the Office for Staff Management and the Department of Education, Work, Health and Human Services, Energy, Transport and Trade.
