Men’s next target? Trump says Doge will view the Department of Education, Financing Pentagon
President Donald Trump He set Spacex and the Tesla CEO Elon Musk to evaluate wasteful consumption in the Department of Education and Pentagon, under the guidance of the Ministry of Government Efficiency (Doge) Musk.
Doge is in charge of removing state consumption, waste and simplification of efficiency and work, and is expected to influence the white house policy on budget issues.

On Monday, Trump and Doge started an effort to close the US International Development Agency, a group that works to assist poor countries and development.
The group is under the supervision of Doge, and on the X AUDIO MESSA MUSK said on Sunday that “in the process” “off the exclusion of USAIDs” for corrupt consumption and that Trump allegedly agreed.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio, now the acting director of the Independent Agency, said on Monday that USAID does not “function” and that the organization is not a “global charity organization”.
“That should be aligned with the national interest of the US,” Rubio said. “They are not a global charity organization, these are dollars of taxpayers. People ask simple questions. What are they doing with money?
“We spend taxpayers’ money,” he said. “We owe taxpayers to the assurances that this is perfecting our national interest.”

Doga was tasked with reducing two trillion dollars from the federal government budget efforts to reduce consumption, government programs and federal labor.
So far, Musk has faced some repulsive consequences for his interference with Government’s affairs. For example, the Senatic Democrats accused Doge of doing “hostile takeover” after reports appeared that Musk had access to the Ministry of Finance’s Office for Central Payment Systems of Fiscal Service.
The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Defense have some of the largest budgets of government agencies. For the fiscal year in 2024, the Ministry of Education received a budget of $ 79.1 billion, while the Ministry of Defense received a budget of $ 841.4 billion, according to government documents.
In the meantime, Trump has hinted that he is trying to fully swallow the Ministry of Education with an executive command.
Nevertheless, the Congress should adopt legislation in order to fully dissolve the agency, according to Article II of the Constitution.

Trump told reporters on Tuesday that although he touched Linda McMahon, former World Worth Wrestling Enterinment (WWE) executive director of the education department, he wants her to eventually lose his job.
“What I want to do is let the states run schools,” Trump said. “I believe strongly in the school choice. But besides, I want the states to run school, and I want Linda to get out of work.”
